Lawyer opposes Lagos State government for Ban imposed on tricycles (keke) and Bikes

A legal practitioner olukoya ogunbeje has stand up against the motion of ban in okada and tricycles otherwise known as keke
Olukoya asked that the court declared that the banned imposed on tricycles and bike by Lagos State was not backup by any court order and is against the law as written in the section 41. He also urge the court to take a perpertual injunction restraining the Lagos State government from imposing the ban
The lawyer specifically asked the court to order N500 million as FAN to Lagos State for the violation of the Constitution
Apart from the state government he joined the Lagos task force on environmental and special offence unit lagos state traffic management authority, the state attorney general, the commissioner of police in lagos , the vehicle inspection service and the Lagos State ministry of transportation as defendants in the suits.
The lawyer olukoya who admit that the banned had bring untold hardship to him and other law abiding Nigerians
He also asked the court to declared that the power given to the agents of the state under the Lagos State transport sector Reform law to arrest and punish violators of the law as equivalent to usurpation of the function of the judiciary
The case as been assigned to justice Mohammed Liman who fixed it for September 28,2020 for hearing
