One of the country in the united kingdom finally legalises the marriage between people of same sex I.e marriage between a man and a man and also a woman and a woman

Costa Rica legalised same sex marriage on the Tuesday the 26th day of may 2020 becoming the first central american country to do so and sparking an emotional responses from rights campaigners as the first weeding were held overnight on that very day it was legalised 
Celebration was cancelled because of the corona virus pandemic but a special program about LGBT right was broadcast on public television and online after a court ruling came into force at midnight. This change will bring about a significant social and cultural transformation allowing thousands of people to marry says president Carlos Alvarado in the program
Costa Rica is the eight country in the America’s to legalise same sex marriage after the group of Brazil,Ecaudor, and Argentina as well as Canada and the US before the legalisation of the one of Costa Rica on the Tuesday the 26th day of may 2020 after they also conducted the first marriage just after the legalisation
The Supreme court in August 2018 ruled that a ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional and gave Parliament 18 months to amend the law,it failed to do that so the provision was automatically annuelled
