In any case, at the instructions of the presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Monday, Chairman of the team, Boss Mustapha, reported that President Muhammadu Buhari had affirmed the relaxation of the ban for four weeks
“The PTF submitted its recommendations and the President has approved the following for implementation over the next four weeks spanning 2nd – 29th June 2020, subject to review.
“Caution Advice development into the Second Phase of the national reaction to COVID-19; use of science and information to control the focusing of regions of on-going high transmission of COVID-19 in the nation;
Mobilisation of all assets at State and Local Government levels to make public awareness on COVID 19 and improve consistence with non-pharmaceutical intercessions inside networks; food of key non-pharmaceutical mediations that would apply across the nation and include: prohibition on social affairs of in excess of 20 individuals outside of a work environment;
“Relaxation of restriction on places of worship based on guidelines issued by the PTF and protocols agreed by state governments.”Boss Mustapha revealed.
